The weather is very hot for June. There was a big but brief storm here last week and many trees were damaged.

Poetry is beautiful use of the language. It is difficult to write poetry because it is so specialized. Each word is chosen so carefully to convey a certain nuance. I wish I could write poems.

This year I think the Phillies will get into the World Series.

This Spring I checked out Librarything again. It is a really great site. It is fun to see who has library lists similar to the one you have.
It is also a better place for reader reviews than amazon.
It is a good place to learn about new books and authors.
